Matt has been a lifelong resident of Destin and has served the citizens of Destin for 22 years. He started as an Inspector in 2003 and worked his way up through the ranks to Fire Marshal in 2017. He is certified as a Fire Safety Inspector 1 and Fire Safety Inspector 2. He is also a member of the Florida Fire Marshal and Inspectors Association. Matt likes to spend is down time Hunting & Fishing and spending time with his family.

Matt has strong ties to the Destin Community and looks forward to serving his community for years to come.
