Accounting Specialist I
This is a professional non-exempt position. Work is performed with little direct supervision under the general direction of the Administrative Division Chief. The Accounting Specialist I assists with all aspects of accounting, such as cash receipting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting, capital assets, projects, grants, and pension.
Minimum Requirements & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in accounting field, preferably in governmental fund accounting.
- At least 1 year experience with QuickBooks (or comparable software)
- Valid Florida Driver’s License
